What are the various costs associated with the NBN Upgrade?
You will need to purchase an NBN compatible upgrade device.
There is a one-off charge of $29 to download the custom NBN firmware into the upgrade device.
You will need to pay the cost of all calls into your Back to Base Monitoring Company. We will require a call credit from you and we will deduct the cost of calls as and when we get billed for them. Of course, you will no longer have to pay the cost of these calls on your phone bill as you won't have a phone bill any more.
There is an ongoing cost of $4.95 for the basic service. If your alarm panel has the ability to use a feature called "Alternate Dial", you have the option of sending duplicate signals to our automated Virtual Monitoring platform. For $9.95 you can have signals sent to your existing monitoring provider for operator response and to our web platform for additional extras such as 15 minute Internet connection supervision, alarm history and email/SMS alerts. You can use the Email2SMS gateway of your choice or you can purchase 100 SMS credits via PayPal for $25
