SPA3102
The Linksys SPA3102 is by far the most popular analog terminal adapter (ATA) in Australia. What many people don't know is that there is special NBN firmware available that will allow it to reliably send signals to your existing monitoring provider and also to our fully automated Virtual Monitoring service. It does this over the Internet, but without using your VoIP provider network or settings.
Overview of using Linksys VoIP Equipment for Alarm Monitoring
All VoIP enabled Linksys equipment features the ability to connect standard burglar alarm panels to IP based data networks and the SPA3102 has the additional benefit of an integrated connection for GSM backup devices. SPA3102 users will be able to leverage their broadband phone service more than ever by automatically routing alarm calls over to our Virtual Monitoring platform.

Installed by an alarm tech or end user, the devices are remotely provisioned, configured and maintained by IP Alarms. Each SPA3102 converts voice traffic into data packets for transmission over an IP network. If power is lost to the unit or Internet service is down, calls can be redirected to a GSM network via the FXO backup port.
